Promotion through education.

The Midwest Aerosol Association was founded in 1971 as the Aerosol Industry Development Association, a nonprofit organization composed of suppliers, marketers and fillers involved in all aspects of the aerosol industry. Our mission is to further educate and promote the viability of the aerosol package to our members and the general public by offering the information and ideas on technology, regulatory, marketing and packaging issues.

The MAA seeks to communicate facts about aerosols through the education of its members and the general public. In order to ensure continued growth and consumer acceptance of the aerosol package, the public needs to be educated as to the environmental soundness of the aerosol.

The MAA is a nonprofit organization consisting of companies in all phases of the aerosol packaging industry. Our membership consists of contract packagers, brand name marketers, component and raw material suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and industry consultants. The range of markets served includes Automotive, Food, Household, Paint, Personal Care, and Pharmaceutical products.
